Iconic American luxury brand Cole Haan has marked their first outlet location in Canada. The Toronto Premium Outlets mall opened in summer of 2013, allowing easy access to designer brands in Halton Hills and surrounding areas. What I love so much about Cole Haan is that they specialize in all items that they sell and everything is made with impeccable attention to detail and quality. The brand started in 1928 in The United States as a luxury men’s footwear manufacturer, and has expanded into leather goods, accessories, as well as outerwear & sunglasses. The brand, which formerly was owned by Nike, has most recently made headlines for their sale to APAX Partners – who previously owned other fashion giants such as Tommy Hilfiger Corporation & Phillip-Van-Heusen.  The firm is now looking at bringing fresh new designs and upgrading their styles.

The spring collection has been making its way into the store and has more to come as well. My personal favourite men’s items are the drivers, which come in leather and suede options in a bunch of different colours. A spring trend for men’s footwear is the amped up saddle shoe, which is a part of their Made in Italy collection.

Other key items for men include their Cooper Square Wing-Tip, the Williams Monk-Strap dress shoe, and men’s leather bags.

Let’s not forget about the great items for ladies too. I love these new croc-embossed oxfords that Cole Haan have recently received; and yes, those are shoe lace ribbons. These can be worn for almost everything and for almost any occasion from work to cocktail parties.

And for the ladies who love to look taller Cole Haan have colourful wedges and heeled sandals.

For a more conservative office shoe, there are also these pointed-toe heels which are also going to be big this spring and summer. Don’t forget to check out their clutches in bright summer hues.

ch7 Last but certainly not least, these gorgeous hand bags that match the clutches, which come in black and white (another big trend), winery and chicory (a pastel blue-lavender colour).
