On Thursday, May 4th,2017, shortly before 6:00 pm a male suspect attended an Oakville Pharmacy and demanded Percocet from the Pharmacist. The pharmacy is located at 333 Glenashton Drive which is on the east side of Trafalgar Road in Oakville.

He was denied his request and then the suspect pulled a knife from his pocket and again demanded Percocet. Employees immediately called 911 and the suspect fled the store on foot without obtaining any Percocet, but stole a container of vitamins.

Percocet contains a combination of acetaminophen and Oxycodone. Oxycodone is an opioid pain medication. An opioid is sometimes called a narcotic. Acetaminophen is a less potent pain reliever that increases the effects of oxycodone. Percocet is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.

The suspect was later identified, arrested and a search warrant was conducted on his residence.
