Halton Regional Police have arrested and charged an employee of Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital following a 13 month collaborative investigation with Halton Healthcare Services (HHS).

Between April 2012 and June 2013, seven elderly women who were inpatients at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital were victims of various thefts and/or fraud related incidents from personal jewelry to identity theft.

OTMH-BuildingThe accused, a part-time Registered Practical Nurse, was arrested on August 22, 2013 and faces 52 criminal charges. Victor Manzano III, 31 years, of Mississauga has been formally charged with: theft, possessing a stolen credit card, using a stolen credit card, identity theft, attempted fraud under $5000 and fraud under $5000.

Police suspect there could be additional victims and are appealing to persons with information to contact the Oakville Criminal Investigations Bureau of the Halton Regional Police at 905 825-4747 x2214/2215. A photograph of the accused is forthcoming.
