Thefts from Taxi Cabs in Oakville – Suspect Caught on Video

During the early morning hours of April 21st 2017, a number of taxi cabs were broken into in North Oakville. The vehicles were all parked overnight in residential driveways in the area of Upper Middle Road and Trafalgar Road.

The suspects gained entry into the vehicles by smashing out the windows. The suspects were possibly operating a Black Ford Taurus which was displaying what appeared to be a taxi licence plate on the right side of the front bumper.

Items stolen from the cabs included GPS units, taxi cab licences, personal documents and loose change.

Police believe there were several suspects involved in the incidents with one suspect being caught on video surveillance.
