After the tragic loss of so many innocent lives lost in Orlando, Florida on early Sunday morning, June 12, 2016 at Pulse Night Club, Town Councillor Natalia Lishchyna and Mason Saunders have co-ordinated a vigil to be held in Downtown Oakville in the Towne Square. The vigil will start at 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2016.

Mayor Rob Burton will be speaking and Theatre Sheridan will be doing a tribute. Halton Interfaith Council will be coming to do a prayer. Members of the community will be reading the names of the Orlando victims followed by a moment of silence.
