On Thursday February 12th at 5:20pm, the Halton Regional Police were called by store security from the Hudson’s Bay at Oakville Place which is located just north of the QEW and west of Trafalgar Road. Two men attempted to purchase merchandise in the store with fraudulent credit cards.
The men were followed through Oakville Place by the mall’s security and were subsequently arrested with out incident by police. The two men were found in possession of fraudulent credit cards. A subsequent warrant conducted by police on the vehicle operated by the men uncovered over 100 various fraudulent credit and gift cards as well as false identification.
The males were both held in custody pending a bail hearing on February 13th at Milton Provincial Court.
Tavin Kadeem KERR, 23yrs of Mississauga ON was charged with possession of Counterfeit Mark, unauthorized use of credit card data and fraud under $5,000.00.
Ryan Neil GOBERDHAN, 22yrs of Mississauga ON was charged with Breach of Recognizance, Possession Counterfeit Mark, Unauthorized use of credit card data (Possess)and Fraud Under $5,000.00.
