During the month of January 2015, the Oakville Centre of the Performing Arts will be showcasing local theatre from the West End Studio Theatre, and Burloak Theatre Group, the Oakville Chinese Network will be celebrating the Chinese New Year in style, and the Oakville Symphony Orchestra will take you from Mozart to Gershwin. Love Letters by A.R. Gurney will be performed by the West End Studio Theatre. Performances will take place from January 6th to 9th at 8:00 PM and January 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM
Love Letters is a moving portrait of two people who share their lives through letters and notes written to each over half a decade, never acknowledging the burgeoning possibility that there may be more to their relationship. 2016 Chinese New Year Charity Show has been co-ordinated by the Oakville Chinese Network, and will take place on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 7:00 PM
Presented by Sixteen Mile Creek Theatre Troupe of the Oakville Chinese Network Society (OCNS), a Chinese New Year celebration show and fundraiser for Oakville’s new hospital. The performance will be approximately 150 minutes in length.
All tickets: $20 until January 11, 2016. Price increases to $25 at that time.
Dead Guilty by Richard Harris will be performed by the Burl-Oak Theatre Group from January 21 to 23, 2016 at 8:00 PM and January, 24, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
John Haddrell dies at the wheel of his car. His lover, Julia, who is with him is injured. Odd things begin to happen around the house. A counselor contends with Julia’s emotional injuries, a besotted handyman helps around the house, and the overly solicitous widow invades Julia’s life. Will the affair cost Julia her own life?

Mozart & Gershwin – Youthful Genius will be performed by the Oakville Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 8:00 PM and Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
The youthful genius of Mozart and Gershwin are featured in this program combining classical and jazz elements. Our own concertmaster, Joseph Peleg is featured in Mozart’s teenage Violin Concerto #5, while Italian pianist Mauro Bertoli performs the dynamic Piano Concerto of George Gershwin. This is a concert that will warm the winter’s chill.
