On Wednesday, September 7, 2016, students in the Halton Catholic District School Board will begin classes for the start of the 2016-2017 school year!

“We are pleased to welcome our new and returning students, staff, and families. We look forward to an exciting and rewarding year ahead.” – Paula Dawson, Director of Education.

Quick Facts:

  • Important dates and holidays throughout the year can be found in our 2016-2017 School Year Calendar.
  • For student transportation information, including student bus schedules, visit: www.haltonbus.ca. Parents should note that in order to access student transportation information, either online or by telephone (1-888-803-8660), it is necessary to know their child’s Ontario Education Number (OEN). This number can be found on a child’s report card or obtained from the school.
  • Families new to our school board or new to Canada, who are interested in registering their child for school can find the guidance and support they need. Learn more about our Welcome Centres.
  • Our newest school in the North Oakville Preserve community, St. Gregory the Great Catholic Elementary School will open its doors to students on the first day of school. Registration is open for September, 2016. Visit our website for more information about registering your child to attend St. Gregory the Great and how to register at one of our schools.

Reminders:
As the new school year approaches, the Board reminds all motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution when driving or walking near school zones, crosswalks and school buses.
