Halton Police are appealing to the public to help identify a vehicle involved in a hit and run.

On November 23, 2015, at approximately 5:30 am, a cyclist was riding northbound on Bronte Road near Khalsa Gate in the Town of Oakville when the cyclist was struck from behind by a white pickup truck also travelling in a northbound direction. Khalsa runs just east of Bronte Road and south of Dundas.

The suspect vehicle immediately fled the scene. The cyclist received treatment by Halton EMS for minor injuries and was released.

As a result of the investigation at the scene, police located parts from the suspect vehicle, which were identified to be from the passenger side mirror of a white Ford F150 pickup truck between the years of 2009 and 2014.

Halton Police are looking for this vehicle which will have damage to the passenger side mirror.
