Found & Safe: 14 year old missing boy from Oakville


14 year old Osama BARAKAT has been located in Oakville by 2 District patrol officers. He is in good health and spirits, and will be returning home to his family.

The Halton Regional Police Service would like to thank the members of the public and community partners who assisted us in looking for Osama.

​Halton Regional Police Service 2 District officers are currently involved in an investigation wherein the public can be of assistance. At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28th, 2018, 14 year old Osama BARAKAT left his family home on Robert Brown Boulevard in Oakville, and has not been seen since.

Osama is believed to be in the company of friends, but police are seeking to confirm his whereabouts and assist in reuniting Osama with his family.

14 year old Osama BARAKAT description:

  1. South Asian male
  2. Approximately 5’5″ tall
  3. Thin build
  4. Small scar next to his right eye

It’s unknown what Osama was wearing at the time he left his house, or whether he has access to funds. He is in possession of his cell phone, and smokes a vapourizer.

There is no information to suggest that Osama’s well-being is in jeopardy at this time.
