The winners will be announced at the 17th Community Spirit Awards ceremony and reception on Thursday, June 14 at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre located at 2302 Bridge Road. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the ceremony begins at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the event are available for $15 each through the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts. Visit oakvillecentre.ca or call the box office at 905-815-2021, Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no reserved seating for this event.

The 17th Community Spirit Awards will be designed by Katie Fortier. Fortier is a graduate of OCAD University whose creations include a line of women’s silk scarves, throw pillows, artwork and notebooks featuring original hand-painted designs.
