PC incumbent Effie Triantafilopoulos is projected to be re-elected in Oakville North-Burlington for a third term.
With 42 of 44 polls showing, Oakville North-Burlington has decided to keep the blue wave. Triantafilopoulos, first elected in 2018, will return as the riding's MPP.
Triantafilopoulos spoke with Oakville News after the projected win was announced: "I personally am very pleased because I will be able to support our community and invest in the local issues of concern, whether it is our hospitals, long term care, or investing in our schools."
"In terms of our community, it is a growing community so I am very interested in being able to continue to serve the people and make sure that they have the investments to make in our community. Beyond that , it’s all about being able to protect Ontario and Premier Ford made it very clear that this election was about dealing with the threat of the U.S. tariffs coming in April."
After being named the winner, MPP Triantafilopoulos spoke to volunteers and supporters at her campaign headquarters in Burlington:

The projected MPP commented also on what her top priorities will be now that she has been re-elected.
"One of the needs that has really pre-occupied me over the last few years was new schools," said Triantafilopoulos.
"I was able to get five new schools approved and an expansion of a sixth school for our community. Education is important and that is something I will continue to focus on."
Another item on Triantafilopoulos' list is healthcare, as she has invested in Joseph Brant Hospital and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and she plans to make more investments in healthcare over her next term as MPP.
Triantafilopoulos also wants to help improve transit and help improve people's commute. So those who have to commute throughout the Province for work can move quickly. She referenced the newly added one payment system at union station between GO Train and Subway as an example.
She also was very happy about fellow PC MPP Stephen Crawford winning his re-election along with other PC MPPs in the Halton Region: "Stephen and I have worked really well together the last seven years and I look forward to being able to do so with him going forward."
Acknowledging the wins of Zee Hamiv in Milton and Natalie Pierre in Burlington, she added, "We will work hard on behalf of our Halton community."
The re-elected Oakville North-Burlington MPP finally gave a statement to acknowledge Doug Fords re-election as Premier of Ontario.
"What [his win] says to me is that Ontario was listening. This election was all about leadership, and this resounding victory that Premier Ford and our party have is very much about protecting Ontario."
