The Blades have won 4 of their last 7 games. They fell short by a goal against Cobourg to close out the month of January. The other two losses were in sudden death overtime against Wellington and St. Michael’s. The Blades sport a: 39-5-1-4 record good for 83 points.Now, the Blades rank third in the Canadian Junior Hockey League. Only Oakville clinched a West Division playoff spot. Currently, the Buffalo Jr. Sabres are in second place.

As the 54 game season draws close to an end, the Blades are four points ahead of the second place North York Rangers for the league lead with two games in-hand. They have five games left in the regular season. The team look to win all of them, tying their franchise’s best record.

They will hit the ice this Friday taking on the Georgetown Raiders at the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex.

Saturday afternoon the Blades are in Brampton at Memorial Arena against the Admirals for a 3 pm matinée game.

Monday, February 18th the Blades host their rivals the Burlington Cougars. This is an annual Family Day Game. Come out with your entire family for a 1:30 PM puck drop at the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex. Admission is FREE!

Then the Blades will end the regular season on a two game road trip. Thursday, February 21st they travel to Kingston to take on the Voyagers. On February 22nd they close the season with another game against their West Division rivals the Burlington Cougars.
