There are lots to do this Canada Day long weekend 2018. Have fun planning your weekend.
Do you have an event occurring that isn’t listed? Please let us know. Non-profits list their events for free and there is a cost for corporations of $25 per event per day.
I find the above information very confusing. What does all day mean? Open or closed. The White Oaks library is definitely closed until September. Also when is the fireworks… Saturday, Sunday or Monday…please give dates. I could go on but I won’t.
Hi Maureen,
Thank you for taking the time to comment. It is through our readers’ comments that Oakville News becomes a better website.

Open means that a business or location is open or closed for business – ie Oakville Public Library – White Oaks is closed. This is clearly found in the Events Section. As an example for today: https://oakvillenews.org/events/2018-06-27/
Fireworks in Oakville – If you scroll down the post you’ll note that on Sunday, July 1 the Town of Oakville’s Canada Day celebrations have a specific location and time as do the Fireworks.
Have a great day.
