Two male suspects have been arrested in connection with the Christmas Eve robbery at the Pioneer Gas Bar in Oakville on Christmas Eve.

On December 25th, 2018 the suspect vehicle used in the robbery was abandoned after the suspects stole a Cadillac Escalade in the area of Pearson Airport. With the assistance of Peel Regional Police, OPP and Durham Regional Police, the suspects were later located and arrested in Oshawa.

Two men from Brampton have been charged with the following offences in relation to the robbery:

  2. Disguise with Intent

The Halton Regional Police Service is currently investigating a Christmas Eve robbery that occurred in the Town of Oakville.

Christmas Eve Robbery On December 24th, 2018 at approximately 6:00am, a lone male suspect, armed with a black handgun, entered the Pioneer Gas Bar located at 754 Bronte Road (south of QEW/403 on Bronte Road) in the Town of Oakville.

The male suspect made a demand for money while pointing a firearm at the clerk.

The male fled in a newer model, 4 door, black BMW with stolen Ontario License Plates.


Christmas Eve Robbery Suspect Description

  1. male
  2. approximately 30-35 years of age
  3. light skin complexion
  4. 5’10 – 6ft
  5. heavy build

The male was wearing:

  1. distinct XCIX Varsity style black and grey jacket
  2. black Raptors t-shirt
  3. black pants
  4. dark shoes
  5. black balaclava
  6. one white/one black glove

At approximately 9:00am the suspect was later observed in Mississauga removing plates from an unassociated vehicle.

The vehicle and the suspect were last seen in the area of the 400/401 in Toronto at 9:30am.
