Celebrating International Women's Day

The last few weeks have been an educational and motivating time for the Teams at SB Partners. We have been grateful to attend several events in honour of International Women’s Day 2025. The theme of International Women's Day 2025 is Accelerate Action, and it encourages everyone to think about how we need to make more efficient and effective steps toward gender equality. At each event, strong female leaders have shared stories about how they became the women they are today and the people who helped them achieve their potential.

While each event was different, they all shared common messages:
- Believe in yourself and surround yourself with others who see your potential
- Take time to take care of your mental, physical and emotional health
- Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do… only you can decide what’s right for you - and when
- Allies are a blessing; keep them close and support them in return
- Be kind and make an effort to be a better human every day
- Your story doesn’t have to be sensational to be inspirational; someone is looking up to you, even when you are not aware of it
