We are in a dark empty Broadway theatre where, one year ago to the day, a new comedy closed on opening night following the sudden death of the leading lady. Now the cast of that show, along with the producer and director have been called together by the playwright to rehearse a new mystery play. As they work through the scenes he has written, similarities to last year arise, prompting worrying questions.
Was her death an accident, suicide, or murder? Is this new work just a play or a guide to the truth?
“Rehearsal for Murder”, an award-winning show, originally starring Lyn Redgrave, opens at the Guelph Little Theatre on January 31st 2025 and plays for two weekends with evening shows at 7.00pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and matinees at 2.00pm Saturdays and Sundays.
