Superior Staff it Inc. is a Healthcare Staffing Agency based in Sault Ste. Marie. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to join our team for the summer season. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain valuable administrative experience in a professional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, accept resumes and answer inquiries or connect with the appropriate individual when applicable.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other communications; directing to the appropriate individual when applicable.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry and document organization.
- Assist Recruitment team with candidate screening and interview scheduling.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Maintain shift filling software- add and omit shifts as requested.
- Call field staff regarding available shifts to maintain fill rates, at management’s direction.
- Run errands to the post office, bank, etc. and assist the team with special requests as needed.
- Maintain office inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level (i.e.; office supplies, promotional items) anticipate needed supplies, place and expedite orders for supplies.
- Attend networking, team building, and professional development events when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (College or University).
- Strong organizational skills and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service.
- Previous office experience is considered an asset but not required.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Anticipated Duration of Contract: April 21, 2025 – August 15, 2025
