SUMMER STAFF POSITIONS:
PARKS/PUBLIC WORKS SUMMER STAFF
The Town of Athabasca is accepting applications for summer Parks and Public Works staff.
Duties for Parks/Public Works will include maintaining parks, playgrounds, the cemetery, street maintenance, participation in the Town’s safety program, and other duties as required. Experience with riding mowers, push mowers, grass trimmers, pickup trucks and trailers would be an asset. The Parks/Public Works positions will require working outdoors in all types of weather.
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and provide a criminal record check and driver’s abstract upon hiring. Positions run from May 1 to August 29, 2025. Shifts are 8 hrs/day, 7 AM to 4 PM, from Monday to Friday.
