Oakville News, in partnership with Oakville & Milton Humane Society, highlights a special pet in need of adoption every week.
Owen is a gentle rabbit who was surrendered to the Oakville and Milton Humane Society when his family could no longer care for him.
He is a shy boy who takes a bit of time and patience to come out of his shell. When he gets more comfortable, his affectionate side and curious nature shines.
He loves to explore to find the best nap spots and get gentle pets while keeping his people company. If you really want to win over his heart, a little piece of watermelon goes a long way – it’s his absolute favourite treat.
If you’re looking for a quiet and mellow companion to relax with, adopt Owen at omhs.ca.
If you are interested in the Pet of the Week, please call the Oakville & Milton Humane Society at 905-845-1551 or visit omhs.ca for more information on the adoption process.
If you cannot find this pet’s profile on the OMHS website, then the pet has been adopted. Please consider adopting another one of their furry friends.
