Oakville News, in partnership with Oakville & Milton Humane Society, highlights a special pet in need of adoption every week.
Raina is a one-year-old Belgian Malinois who came to the Oakville and Milton Humane Society as a stray. True to her working dog breed, she’s very smart eager to learn, and extremely active.
She enjoys being around people and can be quite affectionate with that special someone, forging an unbreakable bond once she gets to know you.
She has a lot of foundational training and will need to continue to get plenty of physical and mental stimulation to keep her happy and healthy.
Due to her guarding of toys (which she is working on), Raina would do best in an adult-only home that is experienced with her breed or similar breeds.
