The Nutcracker is performed on Friday, November 30, 2018 7:30 PM, Saturday, December 1, 2018 2 PM and 7 PM & Sunday, and December 2, 2018 1 PM and 5 PM
An Oakville Family Tradition for over 30 years
Experience the magic of The Nutcracker this holiday season with the Oakville Ballet’s elaborate full length production. Join Clara, her Nutcracker, and the magician Herr Drosselmeyer in this traditional festive tale for the whole family. In a world of elegance, The Nutcracker brings to life the eternally popular Tchaikovsky score following Clara’s whimsical journey through the Land of Snow to the Kingdom of Sweets.
Featuring students from the Oakville School of Classical Ballet under the Artistic Direction of Amanda Paterson.

Tartan Terrors Christmas perform on Friday, December 7, 2018 8:00 PM
Tartan Terrors are their own Celtic invasion, mixing rock’s energy with traditional folklore, dance and humour. With an arsenal featuring classic pipes and fiddle,driving drum tones and signature guitar styles, the Terrors use their sonic blitz to score award winning Step and Highland dance.

This very popular one hour concert is holiday fun for the entire family is presented by the Oakville Symphony You will enjoy a full orchestra playing seasonal favourites and sing-alongs. Interactive activities give children a chance to shake jingle bells or beat the drums.

The Celtic Tenors preform on Monday, December 10th at 8:00 PM
The charismatic, globe-trotting trio are the most successful classical cross over act to emerge from Ireland. They just sing songs they love, and they most certainly don’t take themselves too seriously. It’s all about the music, the harmonies and the fun. The Celtic Tenors perform classical arias, a capella, hauntingly beautiful Celtic harmonies, and popular contemporary songs.

Women Fully Clothed: Too Soon? performed on Thursday, December 13th at 8:00 PM
Women Fully Clothed are Canadian comedy heavyweights featuring Robin Duke (Saturday Night Live, SCTV, Man Seeking Woman), Kathryn Greenwood (Wind at My Back, Whose Line Is It Anyway?), Teresa Pavlinek (The Jane Show) and Jayne Eastwood (Dawn of the Dead, Hairspray, Chicago).

Anna is a professionally trained chef and pastry chef who lives in the Niagara Region with her husband, Michael.

The Great Dubois: Masters of Variety performs on Monday December 31st at 2 pm & 7 pm
The Great DuBois’ is a fast-paced, all ages, variety show showcasing incredible feats of juggling, hula hoops, unicycle, aerial, circus stunts, contortion, magic, and audience interaction all wrapped in a blanked of comedy.
Viktoria Grimmy is an award winning fifth-generation circus performer, who created circus acts for the Tony Award winning “Pippin”, has performed with the Big Apple Circus, Ringling Brothers, the Britney Spears Circus Tour, and was featured in the film “Burlesque”. Michael DuBois has been performing for the past 15 years, has been featured on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno, “Late Night with David Letterman”, and has been seen at over 750 colleges, cruise ships, theaters, and fairs all over the world. Performing together as “The Great DuBois”, they have created multiple shows tailor made for theatres, and even their very own circus tent. Just this past year Michael and Viktoria were also both featured in Hugh Jackman's hit movie “The Greatest Showman.”

These performances will take place in the main auditorium. Tickets for the December 2018 Oakville Centre performances can be purchased at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Art's Box office located at 146 Navy Street.
Box Office hours are from Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Saturday from 1:00 PM to the beginning of a performance.
