About the May Court Club of Oakville
The May Court Club of Oakville is a volunteer women’s organization that provides services and funds to our community. Our focus is on the most vulnerable in our community with particular focus on women, children, seniors in the Halton region.
The May Court Club was established in 1898. We are Canada’s oldest service organization and we’ve been in the Oakville community since 1956. We have stood the test of time and have continued to grow over the years to over 240 members strong. Because we are 100% volunteer run, we have minimum administration fees and the funds we raise go directly to our community and stay in our community.

Since opening its doors in 1957, The May Court Nearly New Shop has served thousands of customers and has become a local favourite for both our customers and consigners. More than 100 May Court Club of Oakville volunteers run and work in our shop. Over the years, our shop has raised over $1,500,000.00 in net profits that directly benefit Oakville & Halton Region through May Court supported charities and progra

Our shop delivers more than well-priced merchandise. Consignment shopping will add some colour, variety, and fun to your wardrobe & home. You’ll likely find unique treasures or that special gem, all while helping to support worthy causes across Halton region.
Consigning your gently used clothing, accessories and homewares with the Nearly New Shop means some extra cash for you and new life for your items. Environmentally speaking, we all know the best form of recycling is to reuse. It’s a win-win situation for everyone.
Please also consider donating your items and help our profits have a greater impact on the community! When donating items, you can choose to direct sales proceeds to our Scholarship Program or to our General Account which funds supported charities.
