The Halton Regional Police Service – Oakville Community Mobilization Bureau in partnership with the Town of Oakville’s Municipal Enforcement Services Department and Fortinos will be hosting a pre-thanksgiving Cram-A-Cruiser food drive in Oakville.

Everyone is welcome to stop by, say hello and take a tour of our cruisers! McGruff the Crime Dog will be on hand to meet and greet with the kids!

This can be a difficult time of year for families so please consider donating to those who need a helping hand, in the spirit of community. Only non-perishable items will be accepted. Most needed items include (but are not limited to):

Powdered Laundry Soap
Instant Coffee
Cereal (Cold Only)
Tea Bags
Side Dishes (Rice,Pasta, Potato)
Dry Soup
Soup, Vegetable
Pancake Mix & Syrup
Diapers, #6 Only
Pullups 3T – 6T
Powdered Baby Formula: ENFAMIL A+

Donations will be made to the Oakville Fare Share Food Bank. This Foodbank, a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers, have been helping the needy families of Oakville since 1988. They currently serve 350 to 400 families (approx. 1,200 people) per month.
