Learn how to make your own Chinese knot.

10 a.m.–noon
Culture Days Workshop: 3D Printing — Digital Art Studio
Learn how to design and print a simple object using a 3D printer.
Basic MAC OS knowledge is recommended. Age: 18+

10 a.m.–noon
Culture Days Workshop: Cartooning and Caricature — Studio 2
Learn how to draw your favourite characters from zines, anime and
classic cartoons! Child registers: adult accompanies (one child per
one adult.) Age: 7–16

11–11:50 a.m.
Chinese Calligraphy — Multi-Purpose Room 1 Try it!
Try your hand at the Chinese art of writing with a brush and ink.

Noon–4 p.m.
Oakville Drama Series
The Oakville Players — Lobby
The Oakville Players will discuss their upcoming season, provide
subscription details, answer questions and showcase volunteer
opportunities within the organization.

12:15–1:15 p.m.
Chinese Folk Dances and Songs
Oakville Chinese Network — Black Box Theatre
The Oakville Chinese Network will entertain you with Chinese folk
dances and songs.

1–3 p.m.
Culture Day Workshop: Clay Wheel Throwing — Ceramic Studio
Are you curious about clay and pottery? This beginner workshop, led
by an experienced potter, will introduce participants to the basic skills,
control, and the subtle aspects of throwing. No previous experience
required. This workshop is skill-based; there will not be a final project.
Dress for a mess. Age: 18+

1–3 p.m.
Culture Day Workshop: Record a Cover Song — Recording Studio
Work with a singer-songwriter and a sound engineer to master a song!
Child registers: adult accompanies (one child per one adult.)
Age: 7–16
