The delivery of milk and dairy products were an integral part the daily lives of Oakville and Bronte residents in times gone by.
David S Hawkins, author of the book “Oakville and Bronte Dairies and Milk Bottles”, will be speaking about the history of the main dairies. He will also talk about some of the smaller dairies that existed over the years.
A display of early dairy collectibles will be exhibited at the schoolhouse during the session. We would encourage attendees to bring in any dairy collectibles or items you may have and join into the conversation.
