This Friday at 1pm MPP Kevin Flynn will participate in the #IceBucketChallenge in support of ALS Canada and the approximately 3,000 Canadians living with ALS, including friends and residents here in Oakville.

Challenged by Town of Oakville Councillor Pam Damoff, MPP Flynn will have a bucket of ice dumped on his head to raise funds for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a devastating neurodegenerative disease. Funds raised will help provide necessary medical equipment and other support services to families who are touched by ALS and help find a treatment and a cure.

MPP Flynn already has thoughts on the three others he will challenge to take the #IceBucketChallenge, which will be announced on Friday at the event.
Donations to support MPP Flynn’s challenge can be done online at: Or donations can be made on site at MPP Flynn’s community office during the challenge on Friday afternoon. Already, nearly $1.2 million has been raised for ALS Canada.
