Poetry Readings -featuring Laurence Hutchman, Eva Kolacz-Hutchman and Stella Body.

Laurence Hutchman grew up in Emery, Northwest Toronto. He has received numerous grants and won awards including the WFNB’s prize for individual poems and in 2007 he received the Alden Nowlan Award for Excellence. He has served as representative for Quebec and New Brunswick/PEI for the League of Canadian Poets and as President of the Writers’ Federation of New Brunswick.

Eva Kolacz-Hutchman is a visual artist and a poet. Born in Poland, she attended and honed her artistic craft at the Ontario College of Art. She has published three books of poetry, including Keeping the Earth Alive, with art by Robert Bateman. Magazine publications and prizes include ARC, Prairie Fire, Grain, and Fiddlehead. Awards include four scholarships to the Banff Centre, twice reaching the shortlist for the CBC literary competition. Her WordPress blog, Thenaturespath, focuses on creativity and mindful wellness.

Born in Africa, Stella speaks five languages. Her teaching experience includes work since 2009 with multicultural students at the Peel School Board and as a professor of international journalism at Sheridan College. She also works freelance as an editor and writing coach to help authors get published.
