Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw tells the classic story of a poor, young flower girl who has been disrespected and overlooked because of her dialect and the way she looks. Through the help of one arrogant individual, she changes her appearance and speech but more importantly, also gains confidence in her own abilities. This play dramatizes, with wit and humour, the power of one.
