There is a lot of activity on the farm at this time of year. From spring cleaning to planting preparations, with a break for some fun and games, there really is something for everyone. Join us on VICTORIA DAY MONDAY between 12 noon and 4:00pm for “Spring Tyme on the Farm”.

“It’s a great time to get out of the house and enjoy the new natural greenery that Mother Nature has provided.” said Program Leader Cathy Entwistle. “Visitors to the farmhouse will get a chance to participate in traditional activities, like baking on our antique wood stove.”

Spring Tyme on the Farm activities are open to the public from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at Spruce Lane Farmhouse. Activities are on-going unless otherwise specified.

Sewing on a treadle machine
Baking on a wood burning stove
Heritage spring cleaning chores
Victorian Games
Plant a seed —earn an Official Park Ranger stamp
Tour the Victorian Farmhouse
Self-guided spring walk along the Trillium Trail
And more……
To compliment your trip to “Spring Time on the Farm” you can enjoy a picnic at one of many picnic tables under the shade of a tree. Children 10 and under will not want to leave the park without a visit to the Children’s Farm and Playbarn.

Program participation and other the facilities mentioned are included in regular Daily Vehicle rate ($16.00 per vehicle). Seasonal and annual vehicle passes are available.
