On November 23 2018, members of the Halton Regional Police Service Two District Criminal Investigations Bureau concluded an investigation involving a cell phone theft ring.

Best Buy stores throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) were targeted. Since October 25 2018, the theft ring had hit 5 separate Best Buy locations and stolen about $30,000.00 worth of high-end cell phones.

Cell Phone Theft Ring Suspects

18 year-old man from Hamilton:

  • Theft Under $5000.00 (2 counts)
  • Theft Over $5000.00 (3 counts)
  • Possession of Property obtained by Crime

17 year-old youth from Hamilton:

  • Theft Under $5000.00
  • Theft Over $5000.00 (2 counts)

15 year-old from Hamilton:

16 year-old from Hamilton:

  • Theft Under $5000.00
  • Theft Over $5000.00 (3 counts)
