On Monday evening, December 21, 2015 at approximately 9:00 pm, the male victim was walking through Valleybrook Park in North East Oakville when he was approached by two unknown suspects. The park is located in the River Oaks neighbourhood of Oakville, east of Grosvenor Street and north of Upper Middle Road.

One of the suspects held a silver handgun in his left hand and demanded the victim’s wallet. The other suspect stood behind the victim and indicated he had a knife. No wallet or cash was obtained and both suspects fled on foot. The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.

The suspect holding the silver handgun is described a younger male in his late teens, medium height with a thin build. He was wearing a black winter jacket, black gloves and a black ski mask. The victim could not describe the second suspect as he remained behind him during the incident.
