There are numerous people who continue to evade the police and the court system and continue to live out in our communities while having a warrant for their arrest in place.

Every Friday, Halton Regional Police Offender Management Unit will share information on a wanted person in hopes that the public can assist in locating the individual.

We will share Fugitive Friday information on our website and via social media through our website.

In this edition of Fugitive Fridays for 2016 the 3 District, Burlington Offender Management Unit is searching for Oskar BALABAN of Burlington ON.

In February 2015 BALABAN was convicted of:

  1. Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest,
  2. Theft Under $5000,
  3. Fail to Comply with Probation and
  4. Fail to Attend Court.

BALABAN served a period of time for these offences, was released from custody in January 2016 and was placed on a Probation Order.

BALABAN has not complied with his Probation Order since his release. His whereabouts are unknown at this time, and he is now wanted by Halton Regional Police Service for Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

He is also wanted on a warrant in Calgary, Alberta for Failing to Appear for Identification.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

BALABAN is 27 years old and described as 6’0″, 170 lbs with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has tattoos on his left arm “Balaban” and “Harmony”. BALABAN is known to frequent the areas of Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton and the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia.

    Fugitive Friday? Wow. What’s next a reality show? Maybe people treat the justice system as a joke because it really is. Ridiculous.
