There are numerous people who continue to evade the police and the court system and continue to live out in our communities while having a warrant for their arrest in place.

Every Friday, Halton Regional Police Offender Management Unit will share information on a wanted person in hopes that the public can assist in locating the individual.

We will share Fugitive Friday information on our website and via social media through our website.

In this edition of Fugitive Fridays for 2016 the 3 District, Burlington Offender Management Unit is searching for Shane McCormick of Burlington ON.

It is alleged:

  1. In 2015 McCormick was involved in a violent dispute where he assaulted and threatened the victim.
  2. McCormick further damaged property belonging to this victim.
  3. As a result McCormick was found guilty of the assault, utter threats and mischief.
  4. He was then placed on a Probation order and has since failed to report to his Probation office.

McCormick’s whereabouts are unknown.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

He is now wanted by Halton Regional Police Service for:

  1. Fail to Comply with Probation order
  2. McCormick is further wanted in other jurisdictions for Possession of Break and Enter Tools, Theft and Breach of Probation order.

McCormick is 42 years old and described as 6’0”, 200 lbs with grey hair and green eyes.

McCormick is known to frequent Burlington, Oakville, Durham Region, Calgary and Regina.
