The Oakville Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated its achievements at the 75th Annual General Meeting.

For the Chamber, 2023-2024 was a year of growth, innovation, and community engagement as the Chamber resumed a full slate of in-person events for the first time since the pandemic.

According to the Chamber, key achievements include:

  • 9% Membership Growth: Strong new member acquisition and retention drove a 9% net increase in membership.
  • 47 Events: The Chamber hosted 47 events, connecting 3,590 members of the business community. The season's highlight was a sold-out Oakville Awards Gala, attended by over 500 guests.

The Chamber has maintained its proactive advocacy for Oakville’s business community, with key achievements including representation on Provincial and Federal Chamber committees such as Digital Economy, Transportation & Infrastructure, and the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada, as well as the presentation of the Revitalization of Manufacturing in Ontario resolution at the Ontario Chamber AGM, which will be brought to the Canadian Chamber AGM in Halifax this October.

New Office Location

In a strategic move, the Chamber relocated to a co-working space in downtown Oakville, bringing it closer to the heart of the business community.
