An attempted break-in at a commercial business disrupted the quiet of Christmas morning in Oakville, Halton Police report.
At approximately 4:00 a.m. on Dec. 25, 2024, police say the suspects attempted to force entry into a shop near Winston Park Drive and Portland Drive by attaching chains to their vehicles and trying to pull the doors open.
The business’s alarm system was triggered, prompting the suspects allegedly to flee the scene before police arrived.
It is currently unconfirmed whether anything was taken during the incident. Police have made no arrests and are continuing to investigate.
