Eager to get rid of your Christmas tree? The wait is nearly over.
A Halton-wide curb-side collection will be held this coming Monday (Jan. 6), while a second pick up is set for the following Monday (Jan. 13).
All ornaments and decorations, including tinsel, must be removed from the trees.
Christmas trees can also be dropped off at Conservation Halton’s 2596 Britannia Road headquarters on Saturday, Jan. 11 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
They’ll be used for restoration projects at area parks this coming spring.
