Halton Police (HRPS) are investigating a bank robbery that took place earlier this week.
Around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6, two men walked into National Bank on Sheridan Garden Drive. They approached the counter and demanded money. No weapons were seen.
The two suspects took the cash and fled the scene on a motorcycle.
They had an average build and wore motorcycle helmets. Their race is unknown.
Just 20 minutes after this incident, HRPS received another call about a robbery at a National Bank in Burlington.
The way this robbery was carried out mirrors the Oakville robbery exactly. The details of both robberies are identical.
HRPS is investigating the two robberies as related.
