Enhancements are on the way for Milton GO station.
Phase one construction – starting Wednesday, Feb. 19 – involves improvements to the washrooms. Temporary facilities will be situation at the west side of the building, near the accessible parking area.
The second phase is expected to begin in April, with the west end of the train platform temporarily closing for upgrades.
Temporarily door restrictions will be in place.
Resurfacing work will also necessitate closure of the northeast area of the parking lot.
Commuters are urged to follow all directional signs and use caution around construction areas, while paying close attention to training announcements.
The construction schedule may be adjusted due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
