The Town of Oakville is kicking off the summer in style with Summer Tune Up, a night filled with live music of all genres performed by Oakville youth. Sixteen year-old hip hop artist Deshaun Clarke, known for his hit ‘Turnt Up’ will close this year’s show!

Born in Toronto, Clarke is bringing some big sounds to the table. His performance at Summer Tune Up will offer a sneak peek to fans of his new EP ‘Don't Sleep’ with his first four singles now available on iTunes.

Clarke first launched his career as an actor in notable productions such as ‘The Incredible Hulk’ to recent appearances in the Disney movie ‘Frenemies’. As a professional street dancer, Clarke achieved first place wins at ‘The World of Dance (2012)’ and ‘Vybe Dance Academy, All Styles (2012)’; and performed as a backup dancer for legendary music artist Alicia Keys.
Summer Tune Up expects to bring 10 talented acts to the stage. Geared toward youth aged 13 to 19, Summer Tune Up will take place on Thursday, June 13 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Oakville’s Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre Black Box Theatre located at 2302 Bridge Road. Tickets will be available at the door for $6.
