The 2024 Oak Park Fall Fair saw a massive turnout this past Saturday, as families came to the Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre for a day filled with fun in the sun.
The all-day event, co-hosted by the Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre and Councillor Jeff Knoll, featured live music, family-friendly activities, and much more, drawing in hundreds of families eager to enjoy the festivities.
Organizers say this year's Fall Fair attracted about 4,000 people throughout the day, raising $60,000 for the Centre.
Michelle Knoll, Executive Director of the Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre, shared that while it's hard to pick a favourite part of the event, what stands out most to her is the sense of community.
"My favourite part is seeing everyone enjoying themselves at all the inflatables, exhibitor activities engaging with the entertainers and the community sitting together for the evening movie," said Knoll.
"I love seeing neighbours, old and new friends connecting and building relationships. Also love seeing people coming together to support the fair - over 200 volunteers make it possible, along with sponsors and exhibitors," she continued.
