The YWCA of Hamilton is now accepting nominations for its 2025 Women of Distinction Awards.
The awards recognize the impact of women and girls in 10 categories in Hamilton or Halton and celebrate the ways women have made an impact on their community.
The award categories include: arts/culture, education/training, innovation in business, public service, community champion, STEM/trades, health/wellness, young trailblazer, and lifetime achievement.
The nomination deadline is 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 1 and nominations are available here.
The winners will be recognized at an event in March 2025. at the Hamilton Convention Centre.
The event, scheduled for March 5, will feature an awards gala and dinner as well as a post-gala celebration.
