Our Village has grown again.
Village Media, the local news company that operates this community website, has added another Ontario news source to its roster: MiltonToday.ca.
Launched this morning, MiltonToday is Village Media’s 24th owned-and-operated local news outlet in the province, joining nearby sites BurlingtonToday, HaltonHillsToday and the recently revamped Oakville News.
Our roster also includes The Trillium, the largest team of Queen's Park journalists covering provincial politics and policy at the Ontario Legislature.

The editor of MiltonToday is Steve LeBlanc, a longtime resident with a decades-long track record in community journalism. Readers know him best for his excellent sports reporting (he was inducted into the Milton Sports Hall of Fame in 2022), but LeBlanc has covered it all during his career.
Joining him on the team is Bambang Sadewo, a talented reporter with a passion for local storytelling. Having covered Milton closely for the past five years, he is committed to shedding light on the town’s triumphs and challenges while amplifying the voice of its diverse and vibrant communities.
“As a lifelong Miltonian who’s covered this town’s happenings for nearly three decades, I’m excited for this new chapter to share stories that matter most to you," LeBlanc says. "Let’s get started.”
Born digital, Village Media’s free and accessible websites are designed to be super-fast and easy to navigate, whether you’re on a phone, computer or tablet. More importantly, each site is a trusted source of accurate, fact-based journalism and other important information, including weather reports, obituaries and classifieds.
This week, Village also announced the addition of SPACES.CA, a soon-to-be-launched social network that is safe, civil — and 100 per cent community-powered. When it goes live later this year, SPACES will help connect you even deeper with the people, places, events and traditions that make your hometown so wonderful.
