A worker has sustained an industrial injury while working on a construction site on the intersection of Lees Lane and Wingrove Crescent in Oakville.
The intersection is near Third Line and Bridge Road.
The incident took place late Monday morning, Dec. 2, 2024.
There is no confirmed information as to what specifically happened to the worker yet, but multiple sources have confirmed they were brought to a hospital after the incident and was treated for their injuries, according to the Halton Police Sargent that was on site.
Once an industrial injury happens on site like this, the site becomes the responsibility of the Ministry of Labour so they can investigate the accident site and come to a conclusion as to why the injury took place.
The Halton Regional Police Services are expected to help the Ministry of Labour in the investigation as well.
