By way of acclamation, Alison Gohel has been nominated as the Ontario Liberal Candidate for the riding of Oakville. The nomination meeting, held on August 28th, saw an outpouring of support from local party members, solidifying Gohel's candidacy ahead of the upcoming provincial election.

Alison Gohel, a long-time Oakville resident, offers a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our community. She has consistently engaged in local initiatives and demonstrated a strong track record of advocating for key issues that matter to Oakville residents, such as enhancing healthcare, strengthening our education system, and making life more affordable.

“Alison is a strong leader who has spent years advocating for the Oakville community—and fighting Doug Ford’s cuts to our public healthcare and education systems," said Bonnie Crombie, Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party. "Alison will be a phenomenal MPP, and I am excited to have her on our team as we prepare to bring back a government that’s on your side.”
