Don Sullivan of Oakville won just under $100,000.

Donald (Don) Sullivan of Oakville anted up and went ‘all in’ to win the Poker Lotto All In jackpot worth $94,091.70 on Sept. 20.

Don, a retiree, has been playing the lottery with OLG for more than three decades. He enjoys playing games like Poker Lotto, Lightning Lotto and Lottario. He is thrilled to share the news of his first big win.

He also won $5,000 on the instant portion of his play, bringing the total winnings to $99,091.70.

"When I bought my Poker Lotto ticket and hit the royal flush, it was beautiful seeing the prize amount. I was shocked and didn’t know how to react," Don recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his windfall. "I never thought I’d actually win big!"

"I shared the news with my two best friends, and they were so happy for me. I think they were more excited than I was,” Don laughed. “Winning this prize has been pretty nice. You don’t think it will happen to you until it does," he concluded.

This is the second lottery win reported just this week in Oakville. Only two days ago, another local man won over $400,000 from a sports bet wit OLG.
