The town of Oakville has announced that the Petro Canada Gas station at 1123 Dorval Drive has plans to be demolished and rebuilt.

A full site plan application from Suncor Energy Inc. has been submitted for the re-development of the existing Petro-Canada Gas Station located at 1123 Dorval Drive.

The proposed project involves the demolition and reconstruction of the vehicle refuelling station, featuring an overhead Gas Bar Canopy spanning 2500 square feet.

The site plan also proposes two EV charging stations and four EV charging spots.

The town did not provide a specific timeline for the demolition and reconstruction of the gas station if approved.

However, upon approval of the site plan, the applicant is required to register the agreement on title and secure a Building Permit for the proposed development within two years according to the town.

After the registration of the site plan approval, the schedule for demolition and construction is at the discretion of the applicant.
