Halton Police are investigating two break-and-enter incidents that occurred hours apart on Dec. 29, 2024, along Third Line. The similarities between the cases have prompted authorities to explore a potential connection.

The first incident took place at approximately 11:46 p.m. at King Dry Cleaners, located at 2501 Third Line.

Police say the suspects forced open the front door, shattering the glass, and targeted the cash register, taking a small amount of cash before fleeing.

The second break-in occurred a few hours later at around 4:30 a.m. at Royal Pan, located at 2530 Third Line. Like the first incident, the police say the suspects shattered the front door glass, accessed the cash register, and escaped with a small sum of money.

In both cases, the suspects were described as wearing dark-coloured clothing and face coverings.

Police say they believe the two incidents may be related due to the similarities in method and timing.
