Police investigating string of Oakville vehicle break-ins

Halton Police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred overnight last Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024, in the West Oak Trails and Shorncliffe Boulevard area.

Police report that 12 vehicles were broken into during the spree, with suspects breaking windows to gain entry. The extent of items stolen from the vehicles is still being determined, but the estimated total damage exceeds $5,000.

Police say a white sedan was seen in the area and is believed to be connected to the crimes.

Two suspects associated with the vehicle were described as wearing dark clothing, according to witness accounts.

The investigation is ongoing.
