Popular Halton-shot series "The Umbrella Academy" releases new season

Season four, now streaming, features scenes shot around Halton region. See photos from the show and shoot around the area here.

The final installment of a series filmed in Halton Hills and Burlington is now available to watch on Netflix.

The fourth season of the sci-fi series The Umbrella Academy, starring Canada’s Elliot Page, went live on the streaming service today (Aug. 8). 

According to the Netflix in Your Neighbourhood website, scenes from the season were filmed at Scotsdale Farm north of Georgetown and Lil’ Monkeys Indoor Playground in Burlington, while other filming took place in Toronto, Brantford and Hamilton.

The show launched in 2021 and the fourth season will be the conclusion of the series.

Netflix in Your Neighbourhood highlights shows and movies filmed in Canada. More than 40 titles are available, allowing fans to discover filming locations near them. The website also recommends tourist destinations, businesses, restaurants, accommodations, cultural institutions and landmarks in the communities that serve as the backdrop for Netflix shows and movies.
